Event series

A series is not a recurring event — it's a collection of distinct dates grouped together. Perfect for course sessions, streaming seasons, or multi-session conferences.

How it works

1. Under Series, create a new series with title and description.

2. Create events and assign them to the series.

3. Each series event has a seriesOrder that controls the ordering.

Public series page

There is a combined view at /event-series/ that lists all sessions in the series.

When to use recurring vs series

• Recurring: identical title, description, link — only the date changes
• Series: each session has its own content (e.g. "Session 1 — Basics", "Session 2 — Advanced")
