Email: Resend, SMTP, custom sender

SpreadEvent supports several email paths:

Transactional emails (account, auth, system)

Always via our internal provider (Resend). You can't change this — it's centralized for deliverability and compliance.

Event emails (confirmations, reminders)

You have a choice here:

• Resend (default) — via our shared pool
• Your own Resend API key — with your domain
• SMTP — for self-hosting or corporate policies

Configuration

In Settings → Integrations you'll find the "Email" tile. Add either your Resend key or your SMTP credentials (host, port, user, pass, from address).

From address

If you use your own provider, your verified domain is used as the sender.
